Gorblimey actually represents a Cockney pronunciation of &quot;God blind me!&quot; :)
Truth is, depending on the region that you hear it, the Gor can sound like a Cor too (I used it hear it down under as Corblimey too) - but when writing I prefer the hard G, due to the phrases etymological origins! :)
